In our fast paced society it can be challenging for us to unwind and relax when we get home from school or work.
The time we designate to exercise or meditate may get pushed aside when we are tired, stressed, faced with personal and family obligations or experience unexpected challenges at work, school or in the community. Stress of the day can result in restless, sleepless nights.
Our level of wellness can affect the way we show up each day, which is why we incorporate mindfulness and wellness tools in all our circles and events.
Every community event we create and lead operates on the framework and intentions of Council and is centered around building community and connection. We also incorporate council, writing, icebreakers, improv games or authentic relating games.
We foster individual well-being by incorporating Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and wellness tools and techniques like breath work, meditation, guided imagery and gentle stretches.
