At HeartSpace we believe a healthy community or team, stems from individuals who have a sense of belonging and well being.
In our fast paced society it can be challenging for us to unwind and relax when we get home from school or work.
The time we designate to exercise or meditate may get pushed aside when we are tired, stressed, faced with personal and family obligations or experience unexpected challenges at work, school or in the community. Stress of the day can result in restless, sleepless nights.
When we are constantly on the move, stressed and/or sleep deprived, overtime our bodies will become sluggish. If we don’t slow down or pause to rest, we will eventually get sick. If we continue to push our bodies to it’s limit continually, we may have long term health issues.
We care about wellness and the overall health of the community so much, that we incorporate mindfulness and wellness tools in all our circles and events.
Our wellness activities include:
